In the first match of the 13th season of the South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) football championship, Nepal will face the Maldives.
The match will take place on October 1 at the National Football Stadium in Male, Maldives. The SAFF released the competition’s schedule, which will last 13 days.
According to the schedule, Nepal will meet Sri Lanka on October 3rd, India on October 8th, and Bangladesh on October 10th in the league round.
Only five of the SAARC’s eight member nations are expected to compete in the SAFF Championship. The Nepali squad is now undergoing intensive camp training in Pokhara, Kaski district.There are a total of 28 guys in training right now.
Meanwhile, on September 2 and 5, Nepal and India will play friendly matches at Dasarath Stadium in Kathmandu as part of the SAFF Championship.
Kiran Kumar Limbu, Bishal Shrestha, Deepak Karki, Bikesh Kuthu, Arpan Karki, Suman Aryal, Dinesh Rajbanshi, Gautam Shrestha, Ananta Tamang, Rohit Chand, Suraj Jeu Thakuri, and Suman Lama are among the players receiving intensive camp training.
In the same way, Kamal Thapa Magar, Nitin Thapa, Tej Tamang, Rajan Gurung, Pujan Uparkoti Bishal Rai, Santosh Tamang, Sujal Shrestha, Sunil Bal, Manish Dangi, Anjan Bista, Ayush Ghalan, Nawayug Shrestha, Ashish Lama, Abhisekh Rijal, and Sishir Lekhi are in the same camp.
