Visiting team Lebanon defeated Bangladesh 2-0 to start their Bangabandhu SAFF Championship 2023 campaign with a win at the Kanteerava Stadium on Thursday.
Two late goals from Hassan Maatouk and Khalil Bader were enough to break Bangladesh’s resistance.
Lebanon got their first goal in 79th minute through Hassan Maatouk in the 79th minute. Khalil Bader got the second goal Lebanon in the added extra time.
